I'm Arman Abrahamyan. I lead agentic AI in Retail Banking at Commonwealth Bank, working with the AI scientists and AI developers.

Anything we ship has to do what it is supposed to do, excel at it, and be safe and trustworthy for customers in a regulated environment. So we design the architecture first, then evals drive the build, and nothing ships until the system proves it is safe, compliant and worthy of trust. Squads of AI agents do the building.

Before agents I studied the brain: a decade in cognitive neuroscience, working out what a system is doing when it cannot tell you itself. That is the training safe agentic AI needs, and I get to use all of it.
